Pirates Of The Caribbean: The TV Series

It has been reported that Pirates of the Caribbean is set to be come a TV series and that Johnny Depp’s character Jack Sparrow is set to be featured in the new TV show.
The idea of the show is to show fans how Jack Sparrow became a famous pirate.
A source said that “The film has been such a success with spin-offs such as toys and video games and books, it only seems right to do a TV series.”

I’ve spent several days thinking about this…..a TV series of POTC. I know its something my son would be interest in….and i’d watch too with him. My son very much interested in the book of young Jack sparrow..should i add CAPTIAN….of course. Its history..a subject that where not involved with. We seem to be aware of others but not history. I feel history important because its a place we’ve all come from from past relatives and history will always be…..
A TV series will be all what wasnt able tobe placed in the films because ideas i know come thick and fast and history of pirates….its all a part of time been before and yeah…….i know my children and myself would watch.

umm…no. we all love the pirate films. and we dont want to spoil a good thing by over doing it. to bring the movies to tv would make it 100x more cheesy. im sorry, but im going to dissagree here.
What if it was already a TV series that was turned into a film?
As thats how some films come about…i’ll keep open view.

Just an excuse to make more money. Haven’t you made enough Bruckhymer? I can’t imagine Johnny doing another TV show. It doesn’t seem to be his thing. So you know they’ll make some wannabe Jack, and it wont compare, and ruin everything. Even the pirate cartoons and kid’s merchandise puts a bad taste in my mouth. Corporate greed ruins everything.
Hold on to your sails, we may have another Pirate film in the making. Legacy of Black beard…..brought to us by researchers, looking into the history of piracy.
Who knows if the film makers, will make TV screen series. Its proberely hype. As i’d imagine they are busy producing other materials to hit our cinema screens.

I think that would be great and interesting.
honestly, i don’t think that will be such a great idea, i personally think that this is getting too big. a lot of people were perfectly content with the ending in AWE, and there should be no 4th movie, and if that’s the case, then they probably think a television show about capt. jack sparrow is going a bit too far. but that’s just my personal opinion.
That will be great! I wouldn’t be suprised if it is based off of the Young Jack Sparrow books. When will it premiere? If they are making Iron Man a T.V. show, why not Pirates of the Caribbean?
