LA Galaxy Lose 1-0 to Chelsea on David Beckham Début

At long last David Beckham made an appearance for the Los Angles Galaxy soccer team.
However, his presence did not stop Chelsea from beating LA 1-0 after John Terry scored in the 49th minute.
Joe Cole set up the goal for John Terry when he drove the ball in towards to right post.
LA Galaxy recently signed David Beckham from Real Madrid on a 5 year $32.5 million deal. Beckham came on as a substitute in the 78th minute but it was too late to rescue LA from defeat.
Chelsea coach Jose Mourinho said:
“LA played the game with a lot of passion, I think maybe they waited to show David Beckham they have a team,”
“They were highly motivated and they gave us a hard game. I think this is the correct attitude to play football. If they continue doing this, they will get results and they will improve.”

Beckham, Beckham, Beckham, that was about all you heard during the Chelsea Galxy game. Its funny how the commentaters got all excited when he touched the ball and he wasnt even playing! I hope he didnt injure his ankle any further too!
