Rising global demand for electricity is pushing nuclear power expansion on to every government’s agenda but Greenpeace are determined to stop nuclear energy from expanding.

As well as global energy demand, nuclear power is also being put forward as an answer to climate change and global warming and it does not produce any carbon emissions like coal, oil and gas do.
