Sergio Garcia Leads The British Open 2007 After First Day

Yesterday Sergio Garcia found his golfing skill again as he got a great score of six under par, 65, in the first round of the British Open 2007.

Currently, Garcia is ahead by two shots as Paul McGinley is in second with 67 despite having lead the way for most of the day.

In third is Angel Cabrera, the US Open Champion and he is one shot further behind McGinley

Tiger Woods, who is the defending champion was “very satisfied” with his 69 and he is still in a good position to retain the British Open championship.

At the moment, the weather forecast for tomorrow is cloudy but mainly dry conditions with the slight chance of light rain.

Sergio Garcia is set to tee off at 9.31am tomorrow with Tiger Woods going out at 2.20pm.
