Sergio Garcia is currently on course to win the British Open, which would be his first major golf title.
However the Spanish golfer insisted that winning a Major golf tournament was not that important to him.
In a news conference, in response to a question asking when he was going to win his first major Garcia said:
“I’m always going to say the same thing: I’m not bothered. I don’t really care.
“I’m trying, I can tell you that. I’m trying to win as many majors as I can.
“Sometimes you play well and you still don’t win. Last year I managed to shoot 23-under in the last two majors and didn’t win.”
Do you think Garcia can go on to win the British Open 2007?
