Sony Computer Entertainment Europe President, David Reeves, recently said in an interview that he could not see it is worth going from a 60GB hard drive to a 80GB hard drive on the PS3 in Europe, Reeves said “going up 20GB is not worth it.”
Before you lot start to moan that you will not get your extra 20GB, David said that it would be more viable to give us double the storage space, so if we think about that if in the future you purchase a Playstation 3 in Europe we can look forward to a 120GB hard drive.
Let’s see what will happen, but can you imagine how expensive the 120GB PS3 will be.

This article is garbage and the headline is misleading. I read the interview and David Reeves said nothing about the possibility of Europe getting a 120gig PS3. All he said was that an extra 20gig is not worth the higher price, and that maybe it would be worth it if it were a 60gig increase. His point was that 20 extra gigs aren’t worth it, not that there’s a possibly of getting a 120gig version. Get over it.
