18 Year Old Rory McIlroy Shoots Better than Tiger Woods at British Open

The 18 year old from Northern Ireland, Rory McIlroy, shot better than Tiger Woods yesterday, scoring 68.
In the first round of the British Open 2007, McIlroy got 3 under par whereas Tiger Woods got a decent 2 under par.
McIlroy said, “It’s a pretty special feeling to say you shot 1 better than Tiger.”
McIlroy also beat seasoned pros Henrik Stenson and Miguel Angel Jimenez.
In fact only two players did better than McIlroy yesterday, that was the current British Open leader, Sergio Garcia with 65 and Paul McGinley with 67.
“I got a chill down the back of my spine,” McIlroy said.
