Toshiba Battery Recall: spanning 10 models of Toshiba computers

Toshiba Battery Recall

It is being reported that there is a Toshiba Battery Recall which is affecting 10 models of Toshiba laptops, but they will be replacing a total 10,000 battery packs after just 3 computers using batteries made on December 3rd 2005 caught fire which luckily no one got hurt.

Five of the laptop models were sold in Japan (more information for Japanese customers here) and another five were sold outside of Japan.

Toshiba is still yet to confirm or deny if the Toshiba battery recall extends to laptops sold in the US or Europe.
