Nintendo Wii Fit
It seems the gamer world is split not on which games console is the best (main debate between Nintendo Wii, Sony PS3 and Xbox 360), but now many are split on the new Nintendo Wii Fit.

You can watch the detailed video below on the Wii Fit to give you an idea what it does for the Nintendo Wii.

Some have watched the video and said they laughed till it hurt, while others find it amazing and shows how the Wii brings that extra interactivity to gaming.

So watch the video and tell us what do you think? Is the Wii Fit a fitness breakthrough or like just standing around?

Close, but not a very good idea. First, I wonder about how sturdy this peripheral really is. The average person is overweight and I wonder about how this will work. I also am concerned about actually being able to perform exercises on the device. They would have been better with mat similar to the hard home version of the dance dance mat. The games look interesting, but I would rather play games on the system. Another problem with the idea is that most homes have carpet where their tv is located. If you don’t have tile, hardwood, or berber carpet then you will not enjoy this. I have plush carpet and the device will have difficulty with picking up when I change my balance. The idea is cool. I just think that the device itself is questionable. They need a device that can really take a beating. This just looks like a fancy scale and the shell looks similar to the wiimote shell. I am slightly overweight and this device has me worried. Not just because of my weight, but the added stress of exercise routines on it. I will stick clear of this because of how the device is designed. If they come out with a better design, I would pick it up. I would like to try the soccer, ski, and hollahop minigames.

I’m sorry, but you’re concerned about the stability, longevity, and functionality of a Nintendo product? Seriously? I’ve never owned something designed and produced by Nintendo that didn’t do what it was supposed to do… well, Power Glove excluded. When he was 10, my best friend took a sledge hammer to a NES controller, duct taped it back together, and it still worked perfectly. I’m sure Nintendo realizes that people using this thing are going to be overweight, and I’d put money on it lasting throught whatever you put it through, considering all of my Nintendo systems and their peripherals still work to this day. That’s over 20 years of performance, my friend. Nintendo = Quality
