Great first shots of the production VW Scirocco

Even more speculation now surrounds if the US is to get the new VW Scirocco, Volkswagen are still on the fence and are not giving a direct answer, but these shots from Autoblog show the Scirocco riding around California do confuse the matter even more.

The VW Scirocco is a total new design, nothing like the Golf which is what people thought it would be like. From these shots you can see that the Scirocco sits much lower to the ground than the Golf, there is not much more to go on from these images, but we can make out a honeycomb grille.
