Wiiconnect24 causing Wii to overheat which damages GPU

People are starting to experience problems with their Nintendo, if they leave Wiiconnect24 on they have noticed that their machines overheats, which then causes the GPU to become damaged. This trouble seems to be happing to only a few Wii consoles, so it is hard to say if it will become a common fault.

Some gamers have said that when they have left their Wii on overnight that is when the console gets hot. Some people have started to go onto standby rather than Wiiconnect24. People should just make sure that their Nintendo Wii consoles are well ventilated and in a cool room.
