India, Brazil and South Africa Work Together on Nuclear Deal

In particular, they will work to help India with its plans to expand its nuclear power program.
The teamwork between these countries would involve supplying equipment, technology and material.

Perhaps by working together, countries can ensure that nuclear accidents are less likely to happen.
The leaders of these countries are all members of the Nuclear Energy Suppliers’ Group (NSG) which controls global trade in fissile materials involved in the generation of nuclear power.
The IBSA (trilateral India-Brazil-South Africa Trade Group) issued a statement after the talks saying saying, “The ministers took note with satisfaction of the positive continuing co-operation among their countries at the IAEA (International Atomic Energy Agency) and other fora, with a view to ensuring the unimpeded growth and development of peaceful uses of atomic energy.”
