Columbian Juan Mauricio Soler has won the 159.5 km ninth stage of the Tour de France.
Apparently, using provisional results, Soler beat Alejandro Valverde of the Caisse d’Epargne team by 39 seconds.
In third place was the Australian rider, Evans of the Predictor Lotto team, who was only 40 further back.
Although, the Danish Michael Rasmussen of the Rabobank team keeps the yellow leaders shirt.
The favourite to win this stage was Alexander Vinokourov but he crossed the line a full 3 mins and 25 seconds after the winner, Columbian Juan Mauricio Soler.
