HP Compaq 2710p Tablet PC: Prices have been announced

The prices of the new HP Compaq 2710p Tablet PC’s have just been announced but does this mean you will save money, HP have just announced their new pricing on their new 2710p 12.1 inch Tablet PC, and it says that for $1,649 will get you the sans OS 1.06GHz Core 2 Duo ULV U7500 processor with 1GB of DDR2 memory, GMA X3100 graphics and 60GB 4200 PATA disk. If you want to spend a little more money you could have the 1.2GHz U7600, 2GB memory, 80GB 4200RPM PATA disk, Bluetooth 2.0 and Vista Business pre-installed for $2,478. Both configurations are thin and light with WXGA LED-backlit display and digitizer.
