LA Galaxy are selling tickets fast for David Beckham’s first game with them on Saturday against Chelsea.

Yesterday David turned up to his first practice and was limited to some stretching and kicking drills because of a lingering ankle injury.

David is scheduled to make his playing debut this Saturday in a game against Chelsea, but the Galaxy coach Frank Yallop has said the midfielder may not be ready for it just yet. “His ankle is quite swollen.” “We’re hoping it recovers quickly and he can have some part in the game.”
This has come as a major blow to ESPN, because they were going to televise the game live using 19 cameras to track only Beckham.

At David’s first practice over 1,000 fans turned up to see him train.

The LA Galaxy general manager Alexi Lalas reminded the media that although they want David to play the first game this Saturday that people need to consider that “this is a human and not a robot.”

Let’s hope that David can play in his debut match this Saturday.

Do you think that David will play?
