The Voice Sense PDA is a revolutionary device from GW Micro that will help the blind; we totally love this product because it means the blind can have a PDA device that will help them immensely. Those who are visually impaired can use the Perkins style keyboard which is raised for entering information it also has a synthesized voice for outputting information, the Voice Sense PDA also features and voice recording capabilities, a Daisy talking book player, MP3 player plus Bluetooth & wireless LAN. There is even a Braille note taker feature.

There is a very fast 540 MHz PXA270 processor and 1GB memory plus, 64 OS storage, 128 RAM, 192MB built in. This is specifically designed for those who are sight impaired and totally blind, the VoiceSense runs on Windows CE and has a vocal guidance system and boasts 802.11b/g.

Other features include - USB 2.0, SD and CF card support, 12 hours on a full charge and audio in and out jacks. The Voice Sense will cost $1,795 which is available HERE but the price will go up to $1,895 after July 15th which was yesterday.
