Morgan Creek is making the new Ace Ventura Pet Detective third movie and word is out that Jim Carrey is being replaced with Josh Flitter, yes we thought the same when we heard this (who the blooming heck is Josh Flitter. Josh Flitter is an American actor born in 1994 and is best known for his roles in Nancy Drew where he played Corky, he was Eddie in The Greatest Game Ever Played and is apparently going to be the voice as Rudy in the 2008 animated film called Horton Hears a Who, he was also in Big Momma’s House 2.
The new movie is dubbed to be called Ace Ventura Jr. and will be basically the eccentric detectives son, Flitter will play the main role and step into his dad’s shoes and become the pet detective taking over the family business. Personally Ace Ventura is Jim Carrey and no one and we mean no one will ever fill his shoes. Oh please come back Carrey. The film is due to be released sometime in 2008.
Will Josh Flitter be better than Jim Carrey?
