Sony PS3 is getting another price cut

Days after hearing that the Sony PS3 is to get a price cut of $100, news is spreading that there is to be yet another price cut. Chief Financial Officer Kazuhiko Abe of Capcom has said in an interview with Reuters that by the end of the year there is likely to be another price cut, and he expects that the Sony Playstation 3 will grow in popularity.

It is not known how much the price reduction will be, but whatever it is certain that it will put a dent in Microsoft’s planned price cuts. But Microsoft has plenty to worry about as they have admitted that 11.6 million Xbox 360’s have a defect
