Dominate Video Game Scene: Sony PS3, Nintendo Wii or Xbox 360

For those of you who that do not know how popular the Nintendo Wii is you must have your head in the sand, to give you an idea, as fast as Nintendo make the Wii they are selling them. Nintendo have said that they intend to make everyone a gamer, and hope by the end of this year the Wii will be the most popular games console ever.

However for those of you who think that the Wii have won the battle, Sony are fighting back. We all know that the new PS3 was not as popular as the Playstation 2, one of the main factors why people do not want to own this new games console was the price.

Sony are now trying to rectify this problem and are now fighting back, they have reduced the price of a new PS3 by $100 for the 60GB version, and they are working on a new 80 Gigabyte version. The reduction in price has already had an effect, as sales have doubled since $100 price drop.

However one fact remains, the Wii have PS3 have a while to go until they catch up to the very popular Microsoft Xbox 360

i think that the Wii is currently leading in CONSOLE sales, but either the 360 or the ps3 is leading in the SOFTWARE sales at this time, but the xbox is close behind in console sales. ps3 is going to have to play catch up. A LOT!
