NEC LaVie Laptops: introducing a new 3D paint job
By: Daniel Chubb | July 12, 2007 | Leave a Comment
The new optional 3D paint work on NEC LaVie laptops does make them stand out from the crowd; the 3D look is made from a special metallic paint that displays a hologram-style pattern when surrounded by a magnetic field…very cool.
The specs are nothing special with AMD Sempron or Turion 64 X2 processors, a 15.4-inch display and the other normal specs for that range.
In summary the new LaVie laptop is for people that do not need big hardware, but would rather have a laptop with something fancy in the looks department.
Currently they are only available in Japan for around $860, so would you sacrifice hardware for looks?
