Firefox 3 Beta
Mozilla has announced that the official Firefox 3 Beta is delayed and will not be out as soon as some would have liked.

Mozilla have said that they want Firefox 3 to be something that everyone working on it is proud of, the delay is mostly to-do with the Firefox front-end and how it has had significantly less development time than the platform.

So now this means that the roadmap has been revised and every 6 weeks Mozilla will release a new version of Firefox 3 until the beta is ready.

So it looks like a much longer wait for many of us to get our hands on the beta and this will give them time to develop user-visible features on top of the core infrastructure.

The next Firefox version after Alpha 7 is expected sometime around mid-September 07; I think they are doing the right thing by focusing on quality and not rushing things out.
