Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix to take $128 million in the first five days
New wizard movie Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix looks on target to take at least $128 million in its first five days of the film’s release. Most of the 5 major sequels for summer 2007 have all performed well, which is why the new Harry Potter movie should do just as well.

Out of the five big summer 2007 sequels, Fantastic Four 2, Ocean’s Thirteen, Pirates 3, Shrek 3 and Spider-Man 3, only three of these opened bigger than their previous installment, with the other two being lower than the previous movie.
If it does manage to take $128 million in its first five days, then Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix would become the best opening five days of any of the Harry Potter movies.
