Simpsons Premier to be hosted by one lucky Springfield

The US town of Springfield, Vermont, has beaten 13 rivals and will host the premiere of the film about the animated family The Simpsons. Matt Groening, the creator of The Simpsons has since found out that Springfield is one of the most common place-names in the US.
Vermont, along with 13 other Springfield towns submitted videos, to show why they should host the new Springfield movie premier. Vermont will now host the premiere on the 21st July; the movie will then have a general release in the US on the 27th July.
