OLPC
Quanta the manufacturers of Nicholas Negroponte’s OLPC have just received news or should we say approval on the system’s WiFi radio. This basically means in simple terms that the 802.11b/g component of the humanitarian-laptop-project is now signed and sealed; this is an interesting thing because it will open all angles on children themed edutainment and communication machines. OLPC which means One Laptop Per Child have had a major success with the laptops that were going for $100 and now that these OLPC Radios have had the FCC approval does this mean we can look forward to the future?
