Enertia Bike for sale in 2008: Electric Motorcycle Press Release

This is a press release story of the Enertia Bike: A company based in Oregon called Brammo Motorsports have just announced that they will be releasing an electric motorcycle in the United States in 2008; yes the brand new Enertia Bike will be on sale in 2008. The Enertia Bike which runs on electric power was totally designed from the ground up to be nothing but electric, it will hit tops speeds of 50 miles per hours and will have a range of about 45 miles, it can also be fully recharged via a standard plug in just 3 hours.

The Enertia electric motorcycle only weighs 275 pounds and has a direct train drive for power. This world needs zero emissions and this bike offers you that, the power technology is stored in six Valence Technology lithium phosphate batteries and these batteries are stored below and above the frame. If you wish to buy one of these it will set you back $14,995 for the limited edition carbon model and $11,995 for the standard model. Sales will start in the first quarter of 2008.
