80GB Sony PS3 includes SIXAXIS with rumble controller

Sony knows that their new PS3 has had some trouble in the past when it came to the games console market, but now it seems that the Playstation 3 means business. Firstly they announce price cuts which we will see in August, but now they are really starting to pile the pressure on the Xbox 360 by rumors that the upcoming release of the 80GB PS3 could include the much anticipated Rumblaxis, the SIXAXIS rumble controller.

The reason for all this speculation of the new SIXAXIS controller, is that on the new 80GB Sony PS3 box it show a red-light on the controller, which many assume it could well be the new Rumblaxis rumble controller. It is possible for these rumors to be true, why else would they delay the launch of the 80GB Playstation 3 until August.

This is what I call GOOD news, I can’t wait fot a rumble SixaxiS, I want to play PS3 games with rumble, but also my old PS2 games! I haven’t play them in PS3 just because the lack of rumble! But now, in my opinion, PS3 is the most complete system in the market, it has the graphics, the new way to play games, the online service, the rumble, and in soon, the best games like LAIR, Heavenly Sword, Little Big Planet, MGS4, Killzone2, Ratched&Clank TD, they are just too many! Weeeeeeee PS3!!!!

    but the 80GB PS3 can’t play PS1 or PS2 games because it doesn’t have a EEC that the 60GB PS3 had, why would I want a PS3 that can’t play PS1 or PS2 games.

It plays PS1 and PS2 games! Not all of them but a big part!

    “why would I want a PS3 that can’t play PS1 or PS2 games.”
    Are you just stupid?

The 80GB can play PS1 and PS2 games. It uses software emulation instead of the EEC. This reduces the manufacturing cost of the unit while still allowing the user to play their old games. The 360 also uses emulation to play X-Box 1 titles.

yeah, I dont think that the red dot on the controller really means anything because on the 60gig box the controller’s dot is orange or something like that and in real life its greyish. i think they just made it red because a lot of other colors on the box are red so it kinda fits in
