Auto Insurance Premiums Cost Less for Hybrid Vehicles

This news is reported to be from the Pennsylvania Insurance Department who say that motorists who own a hybrid vehicle are making more energy efficient decisions, and insurance companies are now offering incentives to these types of policyholders.
This news follows the Insurance Department approving a filing from GEICO to offer a 5% discount to hybrid vehicle policyholders. The company is the 3rd insurer over the last few months to offer this type of discount.
People should always shop around for their auto insurance, but I also feel that more insurance companies should give big discounts to people that try and do things the greener way.
What do you think, should hybrid vehicle owners get these discounts?
