The new film from Disney/Paxar, Ratatouille, was one I thought wouldn‘t be as well received as many other Disney films. It seems I was wrong! The film is about rémy, the rat who has a keen nose for all things delicious and dreams of becoming a successful chef.
Now, obviously there’s more to the story as I first thought as audiences around the world have absolutely fallen in love with Ratatouille. Over 6,000 Internet Movie Database users have voted the movie onto the coveted Top 250 Movies of All Time list.
Currently sitting pretty at number 33, Ratatouille is the only film in the past three years to rate into the top 35, so you can‘t say that it‘s only on there because every good new movie will be voted into the list! The only other films that have made the Top 50 in the past few years are The Departed (#36), Pan’s Labyrinth (#42) and Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind (#45)
So, it seems that the rat’s done good! Do you agree that Ratatouille should be in the Top 250 Greatest Movies of all Time? Let us know.
