Keith David to be Villain on Disney’s The Princess and the Frog.

Keith David (Delta Farce, Crash) will voice the villain on the next Disney musical animated feature, the Princess and the Frog. The fairytale, set in New Orleans, will introduce a new Disney Princess, Princess Tiana who is a young girl living in the French Quarter.
Princess Tiana will be the first black Disney Princess in the movie which is based on an original story by Disney film making duo John Musker and Ron Clements. The two men will also direct the movie which is said to be released in the holidays of 2009.
Keith David is no stranger to voice-over work, with narrations for Ken Burns “The War” and “Jazz” and voice-overs for “The Proud Family Movie” and the recent “Transformers” movie.
