80,000 Chrysler Jeep Wranglers and Dodge Nitros recalled
By: Peter Chubb | July 4, 2007
Bad news for all you Jeep Wranglers and Dodge Nitros owners, as Chrysler are recalling more than 80,000 of their off-road vehicles. The reason for the recall of these 80,894 Chrysler Wranglers and Nitros is its power module. The power module will need to be reprogrammed, this is hoped to prevent a slight interruption of the electrical power to both the engine and the instrument panel.
Although this is only a minor problem, it could potentially dangerous as the problem has caused 180 separate complaints about vehicles stalling. The stall is very brief, but imagine you was on the freeway and your Wrangler or Nitro stalled, however when the engine stalls they reportedly immediately restart.
Owners do not have to worry about cost, as Chrysler will fix this problem for free
