So The Transformers movie has hit screens world wide and the general consensus is - it’s fantastic! Movie website RottenTomatoes have rated the movie so far at a shockingly high 80%, which will surely sway your vote to go and see it?

The best thing about going to see a movie when it has only recently been released is that you’ll get to share your Transformers experience with the hoards of excited fanboys, which can only heighten your time at the cinema.

If you’ve been wavering between going to see it and not going to see it, I can’t push you enough to do the former. You’ll not be disappointed, once you’ve watched it you can come back here and write your own review of the movie!

I went to see Transformers last night. Simply put, it was a great movie. I could ramble on forever on why it was so great, but I’m not. If you are a Transformers fan, go see it. If not, go see it anyways…it’s a great movie and you’ll love it.

I have never in my life written a comment about anything on the internet. I’ve never had the reason or the time, but I felt obligated to get the word out that Transformers is the best movie I have ever seenand I have seen alot. At the beginning of the summer I was looking forward to so many flicks, like The bourne Ultimatum and Harry Potter 5, but now all I’m wanting to see is Transformers again. See it!

Transformers combines the best spcial effects I’ve seen and the typical Spielberg greatness. If you liked War of the Worlds or Jurassic Park, you’ll like this one.

When I first heard that Michael Bay was helming the project, I literally got frightened because I am a big fan of the Transformers. I have watched the series as well as the movie (1986) - which admittedly was more like a movie-length 80’s rock music video with robots in it, than a movie about robots with a rock soundtrack. I still harboured hope because Spielberg was Exec. Producer.

And I sure wasn’t disappointed when I watched it last night here in Malaysia (we get to watch it earlier than a lot of countries due to our piracy problem).

What’s really fantastic is that it contained different aspects - humour, plot, great robot visuals, action - and all were done well. I even got emotional over the robots (the Bumblebee incident with Sector 7 while saving Sam and Mikaela, and the JAZZ INCIDENT).

Nobody beats Optimus Prime for me of course, but I gotta say that there are so many things to love about this movie. From Shia’s lines to john turturro’s and anthony anderson’s lines to the movement, look and sound of the robots, etc. All of my friends (especially the male ones) have gone to buy a second round of tickets for this weekend.

Fantastic Four 2? Shrek 3? Spiderman 3? They may have their fans but they pale in comparison with Transformers. (I didn’t have time tobwatch Shrek 3 and Fan. Four 2 but after Transformers, I don’t think I’ll even bother to catch them on DVD).

    OMG

I’m a mother of two boys 12 yrs old and 6 yrs old and I have to truly say - this MOVIE was the hottest thing ever to me - I grew up watching the cartoons SO I too was a little leary on how it would be pulled off BUT OMG! - I screamed more than the kids ESPECIALLY WHEN THEY TRANSFORMED - OPTIMUS PRIME WAS MY FAVORITE AND I found myself getting a little emotional about BUMBLE BEE - lol - I’m gonna to take the kids to see it again!! THIS MOVIE WAS HOT! - BEST MOVIE OF THE SUMMER IN MY OPINION!

I just saw it again for the sixth time, and I loved every second of it. I noticed a few more of the “easter-eggs” such as right before “Megs” breaks from his icey tomb the ice on his head makes his helmet look like the G1 version we all know and love.
Micheal Bay: I think your great. Sometimes your jumping around from scene to scene is a little hard to follow. But after what you did to bring my childhood back to big screen, all I can say is thank you.

In my opinion this is the number 1 movie of MY LIFE TIME.
    Thanks again
