Tenchu Z Ninga Game: Xbox 360

Tenchu Z is different from the usual slash and hack style of Ninja games, Tenchu Z reverts to the roots of true ninja form by accentuating its sneak and stealth game first and foremost. It is still possible to race through Tenchu Z hacking and slicing anything and anyone you come across but points will be deducted for this breaking of the ninja code.

The goal is to stealthily mark out your target without leaving behind any clues that you were ever there, and the most useful move a character can rely upon is their well trained acrobatic skill. In Tenchu Z the character al have the usual abilities, leaping, hanging, shimmying, crawling excreta, but the true skill for the player is to skillfully cross rooftops and ledges whilst remaining unnoticed.

Aiding the player through progression is a highly informative H.U.D. informing the player of alertness level, and distance of the enemy; stay in the green and you are fine, a glowing fireball, and get running because you’ve been spotted.
Tenchu Z character come with an array of weapons and tools that allows them to dispatch the enemy silently and quickly; face to face combat will centre on the use of the ninja sword combined with agile aerial moves to make them stronger. The real fun begins when you earn combination moves and secret arts. A store allows purchase of upgraded weapons, paid for by completing missions and earning payment in gold.
This version has many more stealth kill options which will help the player to feel more like a stealth operative, and remember it is not always necessary to kill when a simple knockout choke hold will suffice!

Tenchu Z is a most enjoyable game for those that prefer the art of stealth rather than the gung-ho chop and slash approach, although some of the graphics are not up to the usual standard of the Xbox 360. However, there is still loads of fun and entertainment to be had.
