Star Wars Darth Vader: James Earl Jones to be voice of the Declaration of Independence

The voice of Darth Vader from the Star Wars movies, James Earl Jones is to be the voice of the Declaration of Independence at the opening of the Magna Carta exhibit. Jones has one of the most distinctive and most powerful voices in Hollywood, which made him the perfect choice to help open the Magna Carta exhibit at the National Constitution Center.

James, 76 will recite the Declaration of Independence at the Magna Carta: Foundation of Freedom exhibit just one day before the Fourth of July. The exhibit is due to open this Wednesday, and will run until July 25th.

The Magna Carta is actually on loan from Great Britain’s Lincoln Cathedral; the document dates back to 1215 and has helped to inspire the Declaration of Independence.
