Kodak EasyShare P712 Digital Camera
July 3, 2007 | Filed under Digital Cameras, Electronics

The Kodak EasyShare P712 body is constructed in a black plastic with a fully retractable lens, and flash hotshoe, and is probably the next step up from a point and shoot camera. The shutter button is above the side grip along with a jog ring that accesses the cameras Favorites mode, and also acts as the on/off switch.

Start-up is a little slow at 2.9 seconds, however subsequent images snap at 1.6 seconds without flasj and 1.9 seconds with flash. Images are natural looking, but the Kodak EasyShare P712 does tend to produce noisy images, so is likely to be disappointing to the more advanced user.
Features:
- Megapixels: 7.1
- Monitor: 2.5 LCD
- Measurements: Width 4.3 inches – Height 3.3 inches – Depth 2.8 inches
- Weight: 16 ounces
- Zoom: 12x Optical
- Flash: Hot Shoe
- Advanced video features
- Picture enhancing features
- Panorama stitch mode
- Battery charger included
The Kodak EasyShare P712 offers the user a high level of overall control, optical image stabilization, and full manual controls, but is let down somewhat by image noise.
