Google have their hands on GrandCentral Communications: Is this a good thing?

Google have just announced that they have acquired GrandCentral Communications which you can see here. GrandCentral Communications is a company that provides top services for managing your own voice communications, it is a stunning and yet innovative service that lets you the user integrate all of your existing phone numbers and even voice mailboxes into one account. GrandCentral in Google’s hands means one thing and one thing only and that is a better service, Google have said that they are very excited to welcome the GrandCentral team, Google are moving their technology over to their Google Network.
Google have a limited number of invitations which will be available to register for a GrandCentral beta account so if you have a US telephone number this means you can have the chance to sign up for an invitation to Grand Central, all customers that are currently with them will be able to continue their access to the service.
