New Supercar McLaren F2: mid-engine prototype codenamed P8

Reports are coming in from Auto Car that the McLaren F2 is back on-again (I know McLaren changes their mind more times than my wife), this is the supercar successor to the McLaren F1 that was codenamed Mercedes-Benz P8.

Now McLaren have taken the project and are going to run with it on their own, currently there are not many details for us to go on.

What we hear is that the F2 will be built on a carbon-fiber monocoque and rumors say that development is up and running beneath the Ferrari 360 bodywork in the Woking compound in England.
