June sees Sony PS3 outsold by Nintendo Wii 6 to 1 in Japan
It seems that the Nintendo Wii have something to celebrate as news has spread that the Nintendo Co. Ltd.’s Wii has outsold the Sony PlayStation 3 by a massive 6 to 1 in Japan, in the month of June. The Nintendo Wii sold 270,974 game console units in the month of June, while the Sony PS3 sold only 41,628, but it gets worse than that as the Microsoft Xbox only sold 17,616 units.

The Wii seems to be increasing its lead over the PS3, as in April the Will outsold the Playstation by 4 to 1, while in May it was 5 to 1.

These are the figures in Japan but is this the story in the rest of the world, one thing is for sure though Sony has sold more than $30 billion worldwide, but it now seems as if Sony are experiencing a slowdown in sales.

Oh one last thing, while I was browsing the net I came across this cool video, not sure how old it is but it did make me laugh
