Jade Integration, a UK company is due to release a PC, but wait for it, it is small enough to fit inside a standard power all socket and it can be powered over Ethernet. The name for this minicomputer is the Jack PC, and has all the components necessary too run as a low- to medium-power computer.

What you are able to do with the Jack PC is run it as a thin client, what this means is that you will connect to a server; this will mean that you can do more of your processing off of this device. If you want to access web applications then the included Internet Explorer 6 will be a great use.

Some of the Specification of the Jade Integration Jack PC:

  • 1.2GHz x86 AMD RISC Processor
  • 5 Watts Power consumption
  • VGA Port
  • 4 USB Ports

  • Microphone Port

The basic Jade Integration Jack PC will cost £209 that is without a monitor or a keyboard
