BMW Announce Apple iPhone Compatibility for Passenger Cars

If there is one cellphone you are going to want to make compatible with your in car phone system it would be the iPhone.
This is just what BMW have done and 3 days ago they announced Apple iPhone compatibility for passenger cars (good move BMW).
The iPhone will work with Bimmers equipped with Bluetooth connectivity and BMW Assist; vehicles that have the USB/iPod interface installed get full radio and iDrive screen integration for the iPhone iPod feature.

Passenger Car Compatibility:
- 6 Series built September 2007 and later
- X5 built April 2007 and later
- 5 Series built March 2007 and later
- 3 Series built March 2007 and later
