30 Years Of Formula One Turbo Power: Renault at British Grand Prix

Renault at British Grand Prix
The first turbocharged F1 racer was at the British Grand Prix 30 years ago in 1977, the Renault RS01 (top car in the photo) made its debut back then in the UK and next week Bernie Ecclestone’s traveling circus will be heading to Silverstone and we should see the Renault RS01 there.

Also to celebrate the 30th anniversary of its debut, Renault has decorated an R26 in the RS01’s vintage livery (that car should be at the British GP as well).

If you love to watch a video then pop over to YouTube to check out the Renault RS01 taking a parade lap at the 2005 Race of Champions, we would have put it on this page but they have stopped embedding of that video for some reason.
