$1065 BUNGIE Halo 3 Master Chief Helmet: from Microsoft Employee

We came across this Limited Edition Halo 3 Master Chief Helmet on eBay and it is up for sale with a price of $1,065.00 and 57 bids last time we looked.
The time left on the auction was just under 12 hours; apparently the Halo 3 Master Chief Helmet was purchased directly from a Microsoft Employee.
They also go on to say that it is 100% authentic and made by BUNGIE, I am sure many HALO fans would want to buy this collectable but who has that sort of money which I am sure will carry on increasing over the next 12 hours as most people bid in the final mins of an auction.
Apparently the Helmet is not available to the public; I wonder what Microsoft thinks about this.

hey idiots, all this is, is a picture of the legendary edition which will be available for $130 in september. so you may get a case without a game because bungie isnt done with the game yet. dont pay over a thousand dollars for it.

Ahh, I see. ‘Tis a shame ’cause I thought I could sell mine for $1,000 on ebay. It was a gift from my ex (we’re both gamers) so I was prepared to destroy it with a metal bat. Hmmn… To pwn it, or not to pwn it, that is the question.
