Among the smallest of digital SLR’s on the market, the entry level Pentax K100D has a great feel and is superbly sculptured for the hand. It’s good looking, sturdily designed, and delivers excellent quality images, and the shake reduction technology keeps your photos clean and sharp when shooting with a telephoto lens.

The Pentax K100D powers up extremely fast and captures your first image without flash in 1.2 seconds, and subsequent snaps at 0.5 seconds; with the flash it’s slightly slower at 1.7 seconds between snaps, but that is to be expected.

Now those all important features…
Features:
- Megapixels: 6.1
- Monitor: 2.5 inch
- Measurements: Height 129.5mm – Width 92.5mm – Depth 70mm
- Weight: 635 grams
- Flash: Pop up
- Storage: MultiMedia card – Secure Digital – Secure Digital High Capacity

In closing, this is a brilliant camera and value for money, so if you are searching for your first digital SLR then consider the Pentax K100D.
