Majesco bringing Tumiki Fighters to the Nintendo Wii under the name Blast Works
Nintendo Wii have been having a bit of an indie day of late, first they announce the release of the WiiWare developing platform and now they have announced the release of the shoot-em-up game TUMIKI Fighters. The game will come to Nintendo Wii in Europe, but the funny fact is the new name that the game will go under “Blast Works: Build, Fuse & Destroy.”

TUMIKI Fighters the original was created by Kenta Cho, which was a freeware shooter for the PC, what made the game more fun was the way in which the polygons of the enemy ships that you had just shot, they could be stuck to your ship which then gave you a boast in fire power.

For those of you who worry that Blast Works will lose the game play of the original game, it will keep all the great features of Tumiki Fighters. However Blast Works will include a new ship editor, there is a two player mode, and there is even a level editor in the new game.

It is hoped that Nintendo Wii Blast Works will be released in Europe sometime this fall.
