According to La Trifuerza, the Spanish minnow games site the UK will see the release of the Xbox 360 Elite in August. The rumors say that the UK and the rest of Europe will see the launch of the revamped games console on the 24th August, and will cost £300 or €450.
La Trifuerza claim that they had spoken to Microsoft employees, and it was them who confirmed the date. So we will just have to watch this space to see if those rumors are true or not but one thing is certain, the UK public will be happy to see the Xbox 360 Elite, and it will only cost around £20 more than the premium Xbox 360.

The best thing about this newer console is the fact that it will not be plagued by over-heating and disc scratching like the earlier Xboxes did.
The thing is would you rather purchase the Playstation 3 or wait and spend £100 less on the Xbox 360 Elite? which is every bit as good.
