Atari Flashback Portable Handheld: for old-school gamers
Listen up all you old-school gamers; if you are bored with portable games consoles like the PSPs and DS Lites, then you are going to love these pics of the Atari Flashback Portable. Curt Vendel, the designer of this wicked looking handheld has designed it with a 70s and 80s feel to it.

The AFP has the rigid lines of the 2600, to me looks pure genius. There are two controller ports, so if you want to be even more authentic, you can plug in some controllers. It takes three AA batteries to run the AFP, these should give about 15 hours of gaming. There will be a USB Mini Port, so you can load games direct via USB. Screen resolution will be 320X240.

So what do you think of the look, will it catch on or will it be a failure?

I have like 20 Atari games and it Pisses me off because the power plug has a splice wire right at the base where the wire enters The big black square plug making is difficult to repair. I could use this Product.
