We have been reading about the Nintendo Wii Diet that Editor in Chief of Dpad, Mike Antebi has been doing for a month. So now people would like to know was it a success?
What Mike did was go through a normal workout, this consisted of going to the gym two times a week, and then working at home once, this takes it up to three workouts in one week. Once working out on a machine he found that he was increasing his calorie goal per machine which seemed to make the workout more fun.
So where did the Wii diet come in?
People would argue that Mike did not need to incorporate the Wii into his diet as he was working out at the gym, but he did say that it was all about making his workout fun. What he did was play Wii sports, this went from just being on a simply diet and exercise to exercising without knowing about it, which is the best way if you ask me.
Mike Antebi would spend hour’s just laying games sometimes the same ones repeatedly, if you are one of those people who think that gamers are lazy, you should try spending hours playing some of the Nintendo Wii games, and you will then have a different outlook.
While on the month Wii diet Mike Antebi lost 11 pounds, how much of that is down to playing the Wii is hard to say. What it is success, well you decide.
