It seems that more and more attachments for the Nintendo Wii are being released, many though just seem pointless but one does shine above the rest and that is Hori’s Fighting Stick controller. There is not much in the way of looks to suggest that the Fighting Stick is anything to do with the Wii apart from the white and blue colors, oh and the three button that are on the top right of the controller they have been labeled with the remotes home and also the plus and minus symbols. Oh yea did I forget to mention where it says Wii in the top left hand corner of the Hori Fighting Stick.
You will notice just from the Japanese design that the controller is aimed more at the hardcore gamer. The buttons have a convex design, with the main part of the control being dominated with a stick with a ball on the top of it, very retro if you ask me. If like me you are from the western part of the world, it will take you a little bit of time to get used to the controls layout.
You can import Hori’s Fighting Stick controller for the Nintendo Wii from the Play-Asia website, which will cost you $52.90.
