Matsushita Power Pedal Robotic Legs for $167k

The Matsushita Power Pedal Robotic Legs are not the first robot gadget the company has given us (remember the robotic suit to aid in rehabilitation), but this robo-upgrade goes even further.

So if the robot uprising ever takes place these Power Pedal robotic legs should help give us humans a fighting chance, well that was my transformers bit.

Real world benefits include giving elderly and disabled people the ability to walk again, but at what cost because they are apparently going to cost $167k when they’re first available in August.

With time all new products come down in price and Matsushita plan to bring that price down to $30,000 by 2015 (still a small fortune).
