This is the ThinkPad Reserve Edition which Lenovo unveiled this laptop a few days ago, if your expecting something new in the hardware department then you will be disappointed but the leather case is pretty smart for people that love leather.
Business users will love the ThinkPad Reserve Edition as if your laptop goes down then you can have support staff apparently on-site within 4 hours (major cities only), now that’s going the extra mile for you.
The leatherwork is some sort of fancy Japanese saddle stitching technique that Lenovo used and it does look smart (that’s if you like leather).
The ThinkPad Reserve Edition features include a free external multi-burner and an 80GB USB drive, 12.1-inch screen, 160GB HDD, 2GB of RAM, WWAN, Centrino Pro Core 2 Duo L7500 processor and an extended 7 hour battery.
If you got $5,000 for the price of this laptop you still could not buy it as it is by invitation only.
