Gateway Battery Recall for Notebooks Due to Fire Hazard

This is some breaking news on a Gateway Battery Recall due to a possible Fire Hazard; this will affect thousands of lithium-ion battery packs (about 14,000) from Gateway Computers.

The battery packs in these Gateway notebooks can overheat and pose a fire hazard, this recall took place because of 4 reports of battery packs overheating on Gateway laptops and even in one case some minor property damage was caused, but no injuries have been reported.
